Dedicated to Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007)

This site takes its name from one of Sri Chinmoy's sayings:

"Each step forward has a sacred meaning of its own".

These pages are my personal blog on running, biking, triathlon and trekking - and on the philosophy of Self-Transcendence.

Recently added items: a page on Sri Chinmoy and lots of recent race reports (see below). Having just completed 40 races at the age of 40, I'm now focussing on the Forestman (Iron distance triathlon) in July.

My blog is at: http://eachstepforward.blogspot.com/

I SAW IN THE SILENCE

Sri Chinmoy

In the desert-silence
I saw God the Warrior.
In the forest-silence
I saw God the Lover.
In the mountain-silence
I saw God the Dreamer.
In the ocean-silence
I saw God the Awakener.
In the sky-silence
I saw God the Liberator.
